Pre-Calculus 11
First Semester and Second Semester
These courses are to be taken consecutively, not concurrently. Pre-calculus 11 is an advanced high school mathematics course. Students who select Pre-calculus 11 should have a solid understanding of the Mathematics 11 curriculum.
Students in Pre-calculus 11 will explore the following topics: absolute value, radical expressions and equations, rational expressions and equations, angles in standard position, analyze and solve quadratic equations, linear and quadratic equations and inequalities in two variables, arithmetic and geometric sequences, and reciprocals of linear and quadratic functions.

Technology
Scanner, Printer, TI-83/84 Calculator, Math set. Laptop or desktop device with Windows, Mac, or Chrome OS. Webcam and headset with microphone. Access to Google Workspace for Education (GNSPES/SEPNE) or other productivity software, adobe, and some sort of image editing software (such as paint) at minimum.
Binder, looseleaf, graph paper, pencils, erasers and coloured pencils.
