Gaelic 10

Gaelic 10 - Second Semester

Gaelic 10 is an introductory-level course designed to develop the learner’s ability to communicate effectively in Gaelic using basic language skills. The curriculum integrates general language education, technology, culture, history of Gael, music and the arts, and linguistic elements. Senior high students who have not had previous instruction in Gaelic will follow the Gaelic language program at a pace which allows the skills of reading and writing in Gaelic to support the aural/oral skills. Initially, students are taught common conversational phrases and songs, games and stories are used to supplement explicit language instruction.

Additional course details and documents are available on the Nova Scotia Curriculum Site’s Gaelic 10 page.
