First Semester & Second Semester

This course will give you the opportunity to better understand French literature. Similar to an introductory course in English literature, you will study different types of texts (short stories, novels, etc), poetic/literary devices and figures of speech used in poetry, narrative points of view, why authors write and how they develop a main character, and the setting, themes and underlying themes of a story.
